Varsity vs Mishawaka Marian The Vikings had an early game Thursday morning against Mishawaka Marian that proved to be a defensive battle with a final score of 46-39. It was a low-scoring affair as the Vikings were forced to play in a different style than they’re used to. Mishawka Marian slowed the game down to combat the normally fast-paced Vikings. To do so, they ran a trapping 2-3 zone to deny Jack Smiley the whole game. Smiley had a season low of eight points while collecting six rebounds. Caden Crowell led the team in scoring with 12 points; Trent Kimes and Colin Kaleth each finished with six.
