Candy Wilson has announced her resignation as the head varsity girls basketball coach at Valparaiso High School, opting to take on the same role at Chesterton High School. Serving as head coach since 2015, Coach Wilson led the Lady Vikings to 156 wins and 88 losses. "We're grateful for Coach Wilson's dedication to our program," said Stacy Adams, VHS Athletic Director. "We wish her the best as she returns to her alma mater." Adams continued, "As we begin the search for our next head coach, we're looking to continue the tradition of success in Valpo. With a talented roster returning from a team that's achieved so much over the past few seasons, we're eager to identify the individual who will lead us to even greater heights."
